31.03.20 Customer and Supplier Update

VANS

A quick update for all of our customers and suppliers. After a manic couple of weeks we have now managed to carry out shutdown cleans at the vast majority of venues. If you still require this service please contact us as soon as possible as we will be having a total shutdown very soon. Our technicians have been absolutely brilliant in this time of confusion, they have been working all day everyday to ensure customers are taken care of and we thank them for their hardwork. Our staff will become furloughed workers and will all be ready to go as soon as this situation is resolved, we will not be making any redundancies. We have paid all of our suppliers up to date but if…

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Message to our customers: Firstly we hope that you and your families are all safe and well, health is always the priority however we appreciate this is an incredibly scary time to run a bar. This will help to prevent infection of the beer lines and will leave you with one less headache now and obviously when you reopen. Our technicians should already have been in contact with you,…

The old Pub Dog

Bobby in his usual pose

Today 20th February is national ‘Love your pet’ day. We all obviously love our own pets but we also love the local pub dog, so many good locals come complete with a friendly fury companion who is always looking to make friends with the patrons and obviously a sneaky crisp usually goes down well!

Now the year begins….

February however is when it all kicks back in to life with The 6 Nations being a major draw, with lots of venues supplying half time snacks or after match entertainment, February always brings the crowds back to the pubs.

Lost Kegs

Each year the brewing industry loses many millions of pounds through the theft and misappropriation of kegs, casks (beer barrels) and dispense gas cylinders. Keg Watch is the organisation committed to reducing these losses. Keg Watch Limited is a Trade Association limited by guarantee. We represent the interests of over 1000 members from micro to international brewers, cider makers and the major suppliers of dispense gases to the industry. The aim of this website is to provide information about Keg Watch to licensees, the industry, the police and the public and to raise awareness of the issues involved. If you are involved in handling stolen kegs, the penalties are severe. Keg Watch pays rewards for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible…
