Today 20th February is national ‘Love your pet’ day. We all obviously love our own pets but we also love the local pub dog, so many good locals come complete with a friendly fury companion who is always looking to make friends with the patrons and obviously a sneaky crisp usually goes down well!

Thankfully we are now coming to the end of the worst month in the calendar for our publicans, between ‘Dryanuary’ and the annual New Years resolutions to ‘get fit’, January can be a quiet month in the pubs and clubs. February however is when it all kicks back in to life with The 6 Nations…
